Q: Has Attention Mining or CryptoLiveLeak ever held an ICO or received funding?

A: No, this project has never held an ICO or received public funding. This project is privately funded by Kenneth M. Garofalo.
Q: What does CLL stand for?

A: CLL is the official symbol of the CryptoLiveLeak Token. CryptoLiveLeak, Inc. is the first website to implement the Attention Mining mechanism.
Q: Is CLL transferable? Where is CLL traded?

A: Yes, CLL Token is transferable. All CLL tokens given to users from the Attention Mining Exchange are on-chain transactions that can be viewed on Ethereum's blockchain. This initial movement of CLL Tokens from the Attention Mining Exchange smart contract to the users on-site web wallet is free of charge to the user - cost of gas (ETH) is paid for by the exchange. Any movements of CLL Token thereafter require the user to have enough ETH in their wallet to cover any gas costs incurred. For example, users would need available gas (ETH) in the wallets to withdraw CLL from the on-site web wallet or to pay CLL Token for Advertising placement. 

CLL is a utility token meant for use in the Attention Mining platform, it is transferable. While we are aware that the token is currently being traded on exchanges listed elsewhere, we have not participated in market making services. We provide the foregoing information solely as a means of reducing the inquiries we receive directly. Attention Mining or the CLL Token has never had an ICO and has never raised funding from potential investors.

Q: What does CLL represent?

A: The CLL utility tokens are intended for use on the Attention Mining platform, a new Blockchain-based digital advertising and user engagement platform. Ownership of the tokens carry no rights other than the right to use them as a means to obtain services on the Attention Mining platform, and to enable usage of and interaction with the platform, if successfully completed and deployed. The CLL Tokens do not represent or confer any ownership right or stake, share or security or equivalent rights, or any right to receive future revenue shares, intellectual property rights or any other form of participation in or relating to the Attention Mining platform, and/or CryptoLiveLeak, Inc. and its affiliates. The CLL tokens are not refundable and are not intended to be a security, commodity or any other kind of financial instrument.

Q: Where will CLL be used?

A: We are building the Attention Mining platform to integrate into any website built on WordPress. The CLL utility token is for conducting transactions and obtaining services on the Attention Mining platform. The CLL token will be used, for example, in acquiring ad slots to be filled with user generated ad content.

Given the open-source nature of the project, however, we also envision that as we develop the Attention Mining protocol, third-party developers may come up with new and novel uses for the token.

Some of these could include:

Social Media Implementation: In social apps like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Reddit or Instagram, we foresee the possibility of users being paid in CLL to complete various actions that require their attention.

These apps must be fraud-resistant if they are to participate.
Q: Why generate a distinct token, as opposed to using Bitcoin or another major cryptocurrency?

A: CLL is a utility token. It can be used as a unit of account between advertisers, site owners, and users on the Attention Mining platform, and can be utilized to directly measure, exchange, and verify attention. Any advertiser wishing to place ads on a site implementing the Attention Mining mechanism will be required to pay in CLL Token, this requirement will be used to help incentivize users to join the Attention Mining platform. Finally, using CLL as an ERC20 token on Ethereum allows for faster scalability and access to the ERC20 wallet and infrastructure available.
Q: How do I view CLL Tokens in my wallet?

A: You can view CLL Token balances in your Ethereum wallet that supports ERC20 tokens by watching the CLL contract. Your wallet address can be from the on site web wallet or a third party ERC20 wallet like MyEtherWallet or Coinonomi.
